Holistic Integrative Psychotherapy

Healing begins with self-awareness — understanding who you are at your core and reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have been forgotten, hidden, or silenced.
Holistic Integrative Psychotherapy combines evidence-based psychology with mind-body-spirit practices to help you uncover your truth, heal from trauma, and live with authenticity and purpose.

Self-discovery

Discover who you are on the deepest level — why you’re here, what truly fulfills you, and how to bring your unique gifts into the world. Therapy helps you reconnect with your values, strengths, and purpose, leading to a more grounded and meaningful life.

Trans-personal healing

Transpersonal therapy focuses on the spiritual and transcendent aspects of being human. Through mindfulness, intuitive practices, and connection to your inner self, you’ll cultivate confidence, clarity, and inner peace — living more consciously and in alignment with your truth.

Trauma-informed Care

Healing trauma is not just about coping; it’s about reclaiming the parts of your soul that were lost along the way.
Using guided imagery, meditation, and grounding techniques, therapy helps restore safety within your body and reestablish connection with yourself and others.

What to Expect in Therapy

Beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar — and that’s okay.
We’ll start by helping you feel safe, comfortable, and supported. It’s normal to feel anxious in the beginning; that fades as trust builds.

Every session is customized to your needs and goals. Together, we’ll collaborate on a personalized wellness plan that integrates therapeutic approaches best suited to your healing journey.

Therapeutic Approaches We May Use

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Encourages mindfulness and acceptance of difficult thoughts or emotions while learning to act in alignment with your values. Particularly helpful for anxiety, stress, and depression.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Focuses on understanding and healing the different “parts” of the self that have developed in response to life experiences. IFS helps integrate these parts with compassion, fostering harmony, confidence, and self-leadership.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
A trauma-focused approach that helps the brain reprocess distressing memories and experiences. EMDR can be highly effective for PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem issues.

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)
A body-based, emotion-focused approach that fosters deep healing through safety, attachment, and connection. AEDP helps transform emotional pain into resilience and self-compassion.

  • Energy Psychology
Works from a mind-body-spirit perspective to release emotional blocks and treat trauma, anxiety, and self-sabotaging patterns.

  • Existential Therapy
Helps you explore meaning, purpose, and personal freedom — empowering you to live with deeper awareness.

  • Humanistic Therapy
Supports authenticity and self-acceptance, helping you feel empowered and connected to your true self.

  • Yoga Therapy
Integrates body, breath, and mindfulness practices to support emotional balance. Effective for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD.

  • Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
Focuses on the role of relationships in emotional health. Ideal for addressing depression and communication challenges.

  • Process-Oriented Psychotherapy
Inspired by Jungian psychology and consciousness studies, this approach fosters awareness and integration of difficult emotions and inner experiences.

  • Psychodynamic & Attachment-Based Therapy
Examines early relationships and family dynamics to understand how they shape current patterns, attachment styles, and self-perception.

  • Transpersonal Psychology
Merges spirituality and psychology to support self-realization, meaning, and purpose.

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapies
Encourages meditation, journaling, and mindful daily living to foster presence and acceptance.

  • Art Therapy
Uses creative expression to process trauma, anxiety, and emotional blocks in nonverbal, deeply healing ways.

Out of Network Benefits:

Both Dr. Kim, Alexis, Dr. Zoe and Anevay can provide a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential compensation, if you have out-of-network benefits. This will require you to still pay for the full session at the time of service, and we will provide you will receipts to potentially receive reimbursement from your insurance company. You will have to call your insurance and set this up on your end.

Psychology Associates cannot accept insurance or offer superbills, that is one of the reasons their fee is significantly lower.
