I am currently a Psychology Associate at the St Petersburg Holistic Psychology Clinic supervised by Dr. Kimberly Carnall, receiving my Doctorate Degree (PsyD) in a Clinical Psychology from the Florida School of Professional Psychology at National Louis University, an APA accredited program. I am passionate about working with teens, college students, adults, and athletes. My areas of interest include, but are not limited to, treating anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, body image, self-esteem, ADHD, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, and assisting with life changes and stressors.

 

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. We will work towards your best self with reduction of symptoms and empowering you to take on challenges. I meet each client at their level when they start therapy with me, tailoring each approach to fit your unique needs. I use an integrative therapeutic approach from a person-centered, interpersonal approach, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions.

 

I have experiences working with diverse individuals from young adults to elderhood who struggle with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, personality disorders, self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life changes, ADHD, medical conditions, and substance use. I am passionate about fostering a supportive, respectful, and empowering therapeutic environment. I am committed to understanding the perspective of every client and honoring the differences that each person carries with them and brings into therapy.

What’s a Psychology Associate

Doctoral Psychology Associates are individuals with their Masters Degree working towards their Doctorate degree, under the direct supervision of Dr. Kimberly Carnall. Doctoral Students have an extensive amount of training and are continuing their training + supervision. During the students clinical psychology doctoral training program, they are required to do practicum (clinical hours) supervised by a licensed psychologists, in order to graduate with a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, and one day become a licensed psychologist. All licensed psychologist go through this process in order to become doctors!

You cannot bill your insurance when seeing a psychology associate, as they are not licensed yet.

Doctoral students get individual + group weekly supervision with Dr. Kimberly Carnall, plus weekly group supervision from their training programs. They have extensive training in a broad set of skills and are highly focused on maximizing their skill set. You’ll get excellent and thoughtful care when working with them.
