After receiving my doctorate in clinical psychology, I began practicing psychotherapy, only to feel like there was something missing. I continually felt like healing was so much deeper than processing your thoughts and emotions - while helpful, it only took my clients so far.
I began integrating mind + body + spirit practices within my client sessions. I noticed my clients transforming before my eyes - real meaningful change was occurring - we began to move deeper to the root.
Conscious counseling is just that, the integration of psychology processing tools, while keeping in mind the whole human, creating a collaborative and holistic healing approach.
